Tinnitus Functional Index (TFI) Category changes following completion of the 12 stage CBT for Tinnitus E-Programme
Average change by TFI value:
- Cat 5 pre-course: 84.9% > 29.9% (Cat 2 post-course)
- Cat 4 pre-course: 64.8% > 20.8% (Cat 2 post-course)
- Cat 3 pre-course: 45.6% > 19.0% (Cat 2 post course)

One, two or three 1-1 appointments recommended when starting with TFI category 3, 4 or 5, respectively
One 1-1 appointment using Zoom is included plus:
- Up to TWO additional 1-1 add-on appointments during Stage 1
- Weekly SITREPs
- Email support
- Record your progress using logs and Progress Checks
- Measure your progress with before, interim and after TFI (Tinnitus Functional Index) subscales
- Go at your pace
- Feel benefit in weeks
- TFI category reduces by at least one category by stage 6
- TFI category reduced to category 2 (small problem) on completion (see results chart above)
Additional 'ad-hoc' appointments: As well as up to three 1-1 appointments included on enrolment, additional 'ad-hoc' appointments can be purchased (1 appointment: £120; 3 appointments: £340) In 97% of cases, no additional ad hoc appointments have been needed by those using the process when they enrol with two/three 1-1 appointments included.
